1. Anderson Silva – Anderson has proved he’s the best striker in MMA over and over again. He has showed his superior boxing against names like Yushin Okami, Rich Franklin, and Forrest Griffin. He also has 18 KO’s in his career.

Next Fight : Winner of Sonnen/Munoz

2. Junior Dos Santos – In his latest fight, he KO’d one of the most feared men on the planet in 64 seconds. He has KO’d Fabrico Werdum, Stefan Struve, Gabriel Gonzaga, Gilbert Yvel and picked apart Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin intwo dominant decisions.

Next Fight : Winner of Lesnar/Overeem

3. Frankie Edgar – He may not have knocked out the majority of his last 10 opponents like some on this list, but anyone that picks apart BJ Penn for 10 Rounds and then KO’s Gray Maynard deserves a spot on this list.

Next Fight : Benson Henderson(UFC 144)

4. Nick Diaz –  He’s riding a 11 fight win streak, and 7 of them ended in Knockouts. In his latest performance he embarrassed BJ Penn with his pitter patter boxing for 3 rounds.    Next Fight: Carlos Condit(UFC 143)

5. George St.Pierre – Although most people look at him as a boring wrestler who never finishes fights, he really is one of the best boxers we have in MMA today. He may not have that knockout power that we’d all like to see, but he most certainly has one of the best jabs and some of the best footwork in MMA.

Next Fight : Injured(Expected Return in early 2013)

6. Vitor Belfort – With probably the quickest hands in MMA, he has destroyed people like Rich Franklin, Yoshiro Akiyama, Matt Linland and Wanderlei Silva.     Next Fight : Anthony Johnson(UFC 142)

7. BJ Penn –  Freddie Roach once called him the best boxer in MMA, although he hasn’t looked as good as he once did in the last couple of years, it can’t be denied the BJ Penn is one of the best boxers in MMA.

 Next Fight : Unknown(Possible Retirement)

8. Dominick Cruz – The FeatherWeight champion of the world has some of the most unorthodox boxing in MMA. Like George St.Pierre he hasn’t shown knockout power, but has picked apart his last 10 opponents, most notable Urijah Faber, Brian Bowles and Joseph Benevidaz.   Next Fight : Urijah Faber (Ultimate Fighter Coaches 15)

9.  Alistair Overeem – He defiantly has an argument for being the best boxer in MMA today, but with his lack of quality opponents over the last few years, it’s hard to place him that high on the list. But his 1st place finish in K-1 earns him a spot on this list.

Next Fight : Brock Lesnar (UFC 141)

10. Mark Hominick – This might be odd to put him on this list after being KO’d by Chan Sung Jung in 7 seconds. But most people are of the opinion that hominick is one of the most technical boxers in MMA, and that UFC 140 was kind of a fluke.

Honourable Mentions : KJ Noons, Jon Jones, Rashard Evans, Gegard Mousasi

Strikeforce 37 will take place December 17th on Showtime. It is headlined by the Strikeforce lightweight title fight between Gilbert Melendez who is considered by most in the top 3 lightweights in the world and Jorge Masvidal, who is coming off of a huge win over KJ Noons.

Melendez/Masvidal – Melendez(Unanimous Decision)

Masvidal will grind it out to a decison, but in the end Melendez will get the nod.

Cyborg/Yamanaka – Cyborg(TKO in 1st Round)

At this point, Cyborg is by far the best female 145er in the world.

Moussai/St.Preux – Moussai(Unanimous Decison)

I expect Moussai to pick St.Preux apart, this will be Ovince first real big fight in his MMA Career.

Noons/Evangelista – Noons(TKO in 3rd Round)

Noons is one of the very best boxers in MMA, he can give lots of people fits at 155.
